"To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all."
- Oscar Wilde
Travel is not just a hobby it's a way of life ...well, it is to us. I mean, if I had to stay confined in the walls of my hometown for the rest of my life, Jesus might as well "take me home" because mundane is not a word I want describing my life.
I want to do. I want to see. I want to experience. I want to live. I want to do more than just exist on this planet. There is so much in this world that we do not know or are not familiar with that's worth the airfare/gas/ticket/time, why rely on Google for the answer?! Get out there + find out for yourself. Don't worry, the TV will be there when you get back.

No one says you have to go far, hell, you don't even have to leave the state. Go somewhere you've never been OR if you like to visit the same place, find something new about the place you love. A new restaurant, a local artist, a new leisure spot, etc. Keep it exciting. Just a few months ago we visited the largest Hindu temple of it's kind outside of India + we only had to travel an hour away. FYI, it is beautiful! I highly recommend going. The people were so nice + welcoming...
Our most recent trip was to Asheville. Neither of us had ever been (well, I don't think he had been. At least, we've never been there together ...anyway...) + it's one of those great walking towns with tons to do, eat, + drink ...there was a lot of drink. We also took the MINI (who now officially has a name "Pepper") on her first trip through the Blue Ridge Parkway + she did great ;)It was a weekend filled with laughs, history, great food, great company, + spectacular views. We found a burger shop that has THE best burgers I have ever put in my mouth. They were a-maz-ing! And thanks to our friends that were with us introduced us to music that I will most kindly add to my ipod playlist. I can't wait to do it again...
...where do you want to go?...
